Our family has enjoyed the beauty of the Little River for 42 years. It is sad that we can not be in the water this summer for swimming, fishing, and other water activities. Hopefully there will soon be help for our wonderful river! Thanks to all the volunteers working so hard to gather water samples, pictures, and other information.

The Pasquotank River has been a great source of enjoyment for our family. Activities include: fishing, crabbing, sailing, wakeboarding, swimming, etc. The river provides a beautiful, peaceful destination for any resident to enjoy.

This blue green algae issue is real. And it needs to be fought head on before we lose control. Our rivers rely on us and we rely on our rivers.

I’m concerned about the negative impact this will have on our region. It is both scary and sad that our waterways are in trouble. climate change has been ignored far too long. Wake up government officials! It is time for action. Not politics!
