Happy 4th Anniversary to Amazon Wind Farm NC East!

Six years ago, Amazon Wind Farm became the first large-scale wind energy producer in NC. And right in our backyard! The wind farm’s 104 turbines stretch across 22,000 acres of farm land in Perquimans and Pasquotank counties and produce enough electricity to power 61,000 homes. We salute the visionary farmers and county officials who recognized the economic and environmental impact of the project to the community, and made it happen.
